University scholarships
European University of the Atlantic
Merit and Academic Excellence Scholarships
- Scholarship award: Up to full tuition
- Period: 1 year, renewable
- Requirements:
- Fill out the application and pre-registration form
- Pay the fees
- Pass the entrance exam
- Pass several interviews
- Eligible programs: all programs in Health Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities
European University (Canarias, Madrid, and Valencia)
Scholarships For Students with a High Academic Performance
- Scholarship award: Up to 50% discount on tuition, 70% for Medicine, or a fixed amount of up to €3,000
- Requirements:
- Have an average grade of 7.5 (or higher depending on the program)
- Fill out the Application for Financial Aid for Students with High Academic Achievement
- Submit EvAU/EBAU grade certificate
UIC Barcelona
International Excellence Scholarship
- Scholarship award: 20% discount on tuition
- Eligible programs: All programs except Dentistry and Medicine
- Requirements:
- Have an average grade of 8 in the Spanish system
- Pass the UIC Barcelona specific exam
- Pay the application fees

Awards granted upon admission

- Scholarship award: Varies depending on your merit and available funding

There are many different scholarships available for IEU students:

Award amount and specific requirements can vary depending on the scholarship but generally, you can expect the following:
- Scholarship award: Up to 60% of tuition discount
- Requirements: Publicly and regularly participate in activities related to the field
Governmental scholarships
Progress Scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training
- University: University of Alicante
- Scholarship award: €1,000
- Period: 1 year, can be renewed
- Number of winners: 6
- Requirements: Minimum average grade of 9
Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Sports
- Scholarship award: Full tuition (for the minimum credits required to obtain a degree) and more
- Field: Defense and Civil Guard
- Requirements: You must be over 25 years old
Major-specific scholarships
IED Design Talent Scholarship
- Scholarship award: Up to full tuition
- University: IED Istituto Europeo di Design, Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli, and IED Kunsthal Bilbao

The Study Abroad Scholarship Program is meant to help offset extra expenses while abroad, such as flights, transportation, entertainment, etc.

- Requirements:
- Write an essay stating your life story why you want to learn the Spanish language or a unique chapter in your life
- Have a 3.0-3.5 GPA
